Mobile Learning Workshop Spring 2010
The April 2010 Mobile Learning workshop had more than 45 attendees. Presenters from AT&T, Houston Community College and 
the University of Houston had an opportunity to exchange information about mobile learning and development of instructional materials for mobile devices. The event took place in the Texas Learning Computational Center (TLC2) on April 16.
EDA HACEMOS UH Technical Workshops @ UH AT&T Lab Spring 2010
The AT&T non-profit hispanic organization HACEMOS and the UH AT&T LAB and with the sponsorship of the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA), have agreed to develop technical certification workshops this Spring 2010 for hispanic high school students from low-income communities in the Greater Houston Area.
IEEE Communications Society Wireless Engineering Certification (WCET)
The University of Houston AT&T Lab, in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc), will be offering the IEEE ComSoc Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies (WCET) Certification exam preparation course in the Spring (March 29 -31) and Fall of 2010. This event is co-sponsored by the UH AT&T Lab and the Center for Technology Literacy under its Economic Development Administration Program (http://tech.uh.edu/ctl).
Mobile Learning Certification Workshop in April 16 2010
The first Mobile Learning certification workshop is scheduled for April 16, 2010. This workshop has been organized with the collaboration of the Houston Community College, under the leadership of Dr. Roger Boston, the University of Houston College of Technology, and AT&T. VMWare Certification Workshops @ UH AT&T Lab
The UH AT&T Lab is getting ready to offer its first three-day VMWare certification workshop in May 5-7, 2010. This hands-on training course explores the installation, configuration, and management of VMware® vSphere™, which consists of VMware ESXi/ESX™ and VMware vCenter™ Server. Upon completion of this course, you can take the examination to become a VMware Certified Professional. The workshop is based on ESXi 4.0, ESX 4.0, and vCenter Server 4.0.
Cisco Certification Workshops @ UH AT&T Lab
The first Cisco CCNA certification workshop of the Fall semester took place October 7, 2009 in the University of Houston College of Technology AT&T Laboratory (UH COT AT&T Lab). The workshop was sponsored by the Department of Commerce' Economic Development Administration (EDA).
