The April 2010 Mobile Learning workshop had more than 45 attendees. Presenters from AT&T, Houston Community College and the University of Houston had an opportunity to exchange information about mobile learning and development of instructional materials for mobile devices. The event took place in the Texas Learning Computational Center (TLC2) on April 16.

The first Mobile Learning certification workshop is scheduled for April 16, 2010. This workshop has been organized with the collaboration of the Houston Community College, under the leadership of Dr. Roger Boston, the University of Houston College of Technology, and AT&T. This event is co-sponsored by the AT&T Technology Lab and the Center for Technology Literacy under its Economic Development Administration Program (http://tech.uh.edu/ctl/).

VMWare Certification Workshops @ UH AT&T Lab

The UH AT&T Lab is getting ready to offer its first three-day VMWare certification workshop in May 5-7, 2010. This hands-on training course explores the installation, configuration, and management of VMware® vSphere™, which consists of VMware ESXi/ESX™ and VMware vCenter™ Server. Upon completion of this course, you can take the examination to become a VMware Certified Professional. The workshop is based on ESXi 4.0, ESX 4.0, and vCenter Server 4.0.
