The primary goal of this project was to setup a VPN server with in the AT&T Labs at the University of Houston’s College of Technology. Ideally then this VPN server would work in conjunction with a RADIUS server to aid in providing authentication and authorization for users that will be connecting to the AT&T Labs for training and/or online classes.

Initially, this project was planned around the use of the Linux distro Debian (and later Ubuntu), but it was determined that because most users (if not all) that will be connecting to to this server will be using a Windows based operating it was ideal to configure the VPN server with Windows Server 2003.
